Y’all. Today I canned for the first time ever in my life.

My hands shook a little while I laid everything out, but steadied as I stirred the heavenly brine.

Thanks to Ms. Dee for accompanying and guiding me!! Thanks to my mama, Michelle, for providing the bulk of my equipment YEARS AGO, believing forward that my curiosity and passion would realize. And thanks to Deacon Jesse for sharing the beautiful abundance, for giving me a reason to go for it — those cucumbers are now sweet pickles curing on our shelf.
