We love our town
We love our town.
At Freedom Fest last night I kept tearing up behind my shades, seeing and meeting so many neighbors, watching children play and become friends, oohing and ahhing as everyone took risks to show up together.
(Risking what? Risking difference and judgment, being known; you know, the plain risk of being human in community.)
Glad there was music ‘cause my conversation consisted of mostly, “Wow, this is wonderful, wonderful. Taste this! Look there! Wow, wow, wow.”
Happy 4th.
Let’s apply our independence to interdependence.
It’ll make us blubbering, happy fools, in Love.
